TGIF

So, I woke up at 6am this morning to go to the DMV to wait in line for a hour to get my license. Easy enough, right? Um, no. After applying for the license, passing the vision test and then passing the written test, I was told I couldn't get a license without the Oregon DMV mailing proof that I had a license before. I could get a learner's permit. So, after a breakdown (again!) at the DMV, I was told that I could take the drivers test and if I passed, I would be able to get a license. So, after waiting for the kind old DMV lady to fix the information she had previously entered wrong in the computer, I had to take another picture and wait in another line for my drivers test. Well, after passing that, I had to wait in another line to get my license issued. Well, they had to issue me a piece of paper to allow me to drive and said my license would be in the mail and could arrive as early as three days or as late as three weeks. And that was the same process for any type of photo identity. So, keeping my cool and keeping me spirits up, I am hoping I get my license before Vegas, which is next weekend. Or, I will be downing virgin pina colodas like there is no tomorrow from my hotel room while my friends party is up like there really is NO tomorrow in all the clubs.
Needless to say, all of my weekend plans have been cancelled, due to my identity issue and after surfing, I'll be catching up on past season's of Weeds. So, give me a call, I'll be around!
