Earthquake

I survived my first earthquake this week and let me tell you it was not fun. I am sitting at my desk one minute, rocking back and forth the next. It was very weird to have something so out of my control be happening around me. There was no real damage in my area and after, we all gathered outside to compose ourselves and do a head check. After, we went back to work as if nothing happened. Of course, media outlets form all over blew it up a little more than what it was, but still. I went home on my lunch break and nothing was broken, even though the image of Costa Rican rum spilled all over the place was running through my head as I drove to my place.
Regardless, I can say I survived my first earthquake. It was not fun, it was not scary, it was just strange. Makes me really hope that this one is the last one for a very long time.
